Lanner Soldier's Bravery
For Conspicious bravery while serving recently with the Royal Artillery in Palestine. the B.E.M. has been awarded to Gnr Lawrence Brian Lampshire who since has been promoted to Sergeant and is now serving with an airborne division in Benghazi.
Sgt Lampshire who last week received his medal with an accompanying letter of congratulations from the King. Is the elder son of Mr and Mrs C.G.Lampshire of Church Row Lanner.
