The UNAVEM II Medal is an international military decoration established by the United Nations to recognise the service of military, police, and civilian personnel who participated in the United Nations Angola Verification Mission II (UNAVEM II). This mission took place between May 1991 and February 1995 to monitor the multilateral ceasefire and oversee the electoral process during the Angolan Civil War
